In collaboration with the U.S. Department of Education’s International Affairs Office (IAO), the Office of English Language Acquisition (OELA) hosted the “Benefits of International Teacher Exchange and Opportunities Abroad” webinar on Thursday, November 14. Panelists shared about the importance of global experiences for teachers as a primary way of building global competence education in U.S. schools; implementing international project-based learning with students traveling abroad; and the beneficial impact on teaching and learning of a school's partnership with an organization that helps hire teachers from abroad.
